Whippoorwill Septic charges one rate for properties within 30 miles of our Lufkin office and one for properties farther out, and the tables below show both for pump outs, service calls, pump replacement and annual aerobic contracts. A service call sends a licensed technician to inspect your system and diagnose the problem. It is waived when we replace or rebuild the pump on the same visit.

Common questions about our prices
We measure driving distance from our office at 7000 S. US Hwy 69 in Lufkin. Properties within 30 miles get the first price and properties 30 miles out or more get the second. Give us your address when you call 936-824-2281 and we will tell you which one applies before anyone is scheduled.
Many East Texas systems have more than one tank: a second compartment with its own lid, a separate pump tank, or a trash tank ahead of an aerobic unit. The pump out price covers the first tank, and each extra tank we open and empty on the same visit is $150.
When a lid sits below grade we have to locate it, dig it out by hand and put the ground back when we are done, which adds real time to the visit. That is the $50 digging charge. If you would rather not pay it again, ask about adding a riser so the lid sits at ground level.
An aerobic system has several chambers to empty, usually a trash tank, an aeration chamber and a pump tank, and it has an aerator, pump and floats to work around while we do it. A 500-gallon conventional tank is a single compartment with one lid, so it takes less time on site.
No. When we replace or rebuild the air pump, or replace the water pump, on the same visit, the service call is waived and you pay only for the pump work. The service call fee applies when the visit ends with a diagnosis and no pump replacement.
